The West African Leadership and Empowerment Centre was created to examine the leadership dynamics shaping the region and to help develop practical responses to the challenges holding communities back.
We bring leaders, scholars, policymakers, entrepreneurs, professionals, civil society actors and emerging changemakers into the same conversation. The aim is not discussion for its own sake, but clearer thinking, stronger relationships and action that can be sustained.
Through conferences, awards, summits and empowerment initiatives, WALEC helps promising leaders access visibility, knowledge, networks and the confidence to contribute at a higher level.
