This notice explains how the West African Leadership and Empowerment Centre may collect and use information submitted through this website.

When you use a contact, partnership or newsletter form, WALEC may receive your name, email address, phone number, organization, area of interest and the message you submit.
How information is used
- To respond to enquiries and related follow-up.
- To provide event, nomination or program information you request.
- To assess potential partnerships, sponsorships or volunteer contributions.
- To send WALEC updates when you subscribe.
- To protect the website from spam, fraud or misuse.
Storage and access
Website submissions should be stored securely and made available only to authorized people who need the information for the purpose described above. The production site administrator should configure appropriate server permissions, backups and retention practices.
Sharing
WALEC should not sell personal information. Information may be shared with trusted service providers supporting website hosting, email, event management or communications, only where needed to provide those services or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted, or unsubscribe from non-essential communications, by emailing info@walec.org.
